American magazine Gear Patrol put the Brighton 6 Roadster among the most appealing retro launches of the moment, in a piece that sums the project up as a British name with more than 120 years of history, Italian design and modern engineering.
The review spends most of its time on the styling: the teardrop tank in a deep red called Malbec, the diamond-stitched seat, the cut-down mudguards, the round LED headlight and the embroidered Union Jack badge.
On the mechanical side it lists the liquid-cooled 550 cc parallel twin with 60 hp and 41 lb-ft of torque, 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, upside-down forks, twin disc brakes with Bosch ABS, a connected TFT panel and full LED lighting.
