WheelsMag spends a month with the Capetown 7S: British style, made in Turin

Italian magazine WheelsMag lived with the Capetown 7S for around a month, riding it from city traffic to mountain passes.

The test singled out the clean, rounded design developed at the Phelon & Moore Style Centre in Turin and the colour palette that nods to the brand’s British history. It also picked out details that are unusual at this price point: the cast aluminium single-sided swingarm, the gel seat, the windscreen you can adjust on the move and the heated grips.

On the road the magazine described a bike that is easy and forgiving, helped by a low 830 mm seat, a wide handlebar and suspension that copes well with bumps, with a precise six-speed gearbox and traction control and ABS that stay discreet.
